FKM - we finally decided not to replace the bare bulb fashion fixture on our living room ceiling with a ceiling light, but rather with a ceiling fan. We can always attach a light to this one later, if need be. I suppose having the remote control or the wall switch would be nice, but I think you have to order those extra.
